What to expect

Deep, sweet and easy.

Low acid, a fuller and rounder body, and a lot of cocoa and brown sugar. It is forgiving: even a dark roast does not get harsh, and it is the better one with milk.

  • Cocoa
  • Brown sugar
  • Low acid

Expected from the bean and where it grows, not a cupping score.

Roast

Espresso

A medium-dark roast for espresso.

Origin story

Every bag of this coffee comes from one 12-acre farm in Zambia, on flat, fertile, red-earth ground. The cherries are washed, then dried slowly in the shade. That patient drying is a big part of why we expect a smooth, low-acid cup with plenty of cocoa and brown sugar.
